1. Define the audience

Describe who you want to reach, what they already know, and the problem they are trying to solve. A useful audience description helps you choose the right setting and question.

2. Pick one product story

Choose the feature or benefit you can make tangible in one short interaction. Save the rest for another concept.

3. Plan the opening

Write several versions of the first question. Keep them easy to understand and open enough to invite a real response.

4. Decide what must be captured

Build a shot list for the demonstration, the reaction, and the context. Capture enough material to give your editor options.

5. Agree on the practical details

Set the locations, schedule, deliverables, participant permissions, and campaign usage before filming. Share brand guidelines and any product claims that need careful handling.

6. Choose what to learn

Decide which creative variable you are testing: opening question, demonstration, audience, or edit. Keep a record of each variation so the next round builds on what you learn.
